    About Bryant

Bryant was born and raised in San Francisco. Throughout his volleyball career, Bryant has played, managed, and coached in various capacities. He first played for Slainte Volleyball Club and then competed for Lowell High School’s varsity team as their starting setter and was named captain of the team for his last two years. His varsity team was able to secure a second place finish in the CIFSF Section while at the same time, Bryant was nominated as an Honorable Mention Team player.

Besides just playing on varsity at Lowell, Bryant also contributed to the girls program by managing, in which he helped the 2019 Lowell Girls Varsity Team win the California Division 3 State Championship. During this time, Bryant also coached at SF Elite’s Future Elite Program which was aimed at introducing volleyball and teaching the fundamental skills of the sport to beginners.

After recently graduating from UCLA with a degree in chemistry, Bryant returned to Lowell High School to assist his former varsity team for the 2023-2024 season where they were able to win the CIFSF Section title. Bryant spent his first season coaching club volleyball at Red Rock last season and he is excited to continue his coaching experiences at Tyrants.

When he is not coaching, Bryant is watching a good show or movie, going to open gyms to play volleyball, and working towards his masters in chemistry at San Francisco State University.
